For years, King Charles appeared torn between protecting the monarchy and protecting his brother. But according to explosive new claims from royal insiders, it may have been Queen Camilla who finally forced the Palace to draw a hard line against Prince Andrew — and the consequences are now reportedly spreading through the entire York family.

Behind the polished smiles and carefully controlled Palace statements, a quiet power struggle is said to have unfolded inside royal walls after Andrew’s links to Jeffrey Epstein became impossible for the monarchy to contain.
And at the center of it all, insiders claim, stood Queen Camilla.
Royal expert Phil Dampier now alleges that Camilla played an “instrumental” role in pushing King Charles to sideline Andrew permanently from royal life once the King’s health stabilized enough for him to confront the crisis directly.
According to sources close to the Palace, Camilla initially stepped back out of respect for Charles’s emotional ties to his younger brother — and concern over the King’s health during a difficult period. But privately, frustration was reportedly building.
“Her attitude is that they are all a stain on the monarchy,” one insider bluntly claimed, referring not only to Andrew, but to the wider York family.
The latest sign of that alleged frostiness came after Princess Eugenie announced her third pregnancy. Royal watchers quickly noticed that Camilla’s name was absent from the official congratulatory message issued by King Charles — something insiders now believe was no accident.
To many inside royal circles, the omission was interpreted as a subtle but unmistakable signal.
And according to Dampier, Camilla is no longer acting alone.

The Queen Consort and Prince William are now said to be leading what some insiders describe as an “anti-York faction” within the monarchy — one determined to distance the institution from the scandals that have haunted Prince Andrew for years.
More dramatically, discussions are allegedly taking place about whether the York branch should eventually be pushed even further from the royal center — including questions surrounding Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and even their children’s positions in the line of succession.
“If Andrew is removed,” Dampier argued, “there must be a possibility that Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as their children, will also be taken out.”
The alleged reasoning behind Camilla’s position is deeply personal.
Over recent years, the Queen has increasingly championed causes supporting abused women and survivors of domestic violence. According to insiders, remaining publicly tied to the Epstein scandal through the York family has become something she finds morally and politically impossible to ignore.
“The last thing they need,” a source explained of Charles and Camilla, “is to be dragged down by Andrew and his ex-wife.”
Meanwhile, Prince William is also believed to have lost patience.

For a long time, insiders say the Prince of Wales hoped Beatrice and Eugenie could remain close to the Royal Family without being permanently damaged by their father’s scandals. But following renewed scrutiny surrounding Epstein-related revelations, William reportedly changed course completely.
According to one Palace source, both William and Princess Kate’s noticeably restrained reaction to Eugenie’s pregnancy announcement was interpreted internally as a powerful sign that “things have changed.”
And as the monarchy fights to modernize under Charles while preparing for William’s future reign, the message emerging from inside the Palace appears increasingly clear:
The House of Windsor may finally be preparing to cut the Yorks loose — once and for all.
