The future Queen has us all reeling with her killer fashion – especially her throwback looks from her 20s when she was a Chelsea it-girl!

The Princess of Wales’ sartorial portfolio is seldom not one of our favourite talking points.
Whether she’s recycling an old classic like her 2007 noughties jacket or stepping out in something new, the future Queen, 43, always gets it right.
One occasion that has particularly caught our eye of late is a stunning throwback look Kate rocked while dating Prince William. In 2006, Kate was the Belle of the ball attending Richard Branson’s pre-Wimbledon party in 2006.
Then, the future royal was captured dancing the night away wearing a black and red floral skirt complete with a waist-cinching black top.
Highlighting her glowing sun-kissed legs, Kate slipped on a pair of black pointed-stilettos, accessorising her look with a small velvet handbag and a silver watch.

Embracing her status as a Chelsea it-girl at the time, Kate styled her choppy brunette locks with a blow-dry that accentuated her face-framing layers, complete with a side fringe.
Meanwhile, her makeup was comprised of a naturally bronzed complexion, copious black kohl eyeliner and matching black mascara.
Kate’s Chelsea-girl era
While going through the no-doubt on-again off-again era with her future royal beau, Prince William, Kate lived in a jaw-dropping ยฃ1.88 million Chelsea Apartment with her younger siblings, Pippa, 42, and James, 39.

James even talks about their former home in his book, Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life, revealing that Prince William even paid the home in SW3 a visit.
“By now, William has been dating Catherine for six years, so I know him well, and there is no scramble to clear up when he comes to supper.
“Sometimes I’ll be walking back to our flat late in the evening when an officer in a police protection car, parked discreetly up the road, alerts me to the fact that William is visiting, and Ella and I will make an extra lap of the block to delay our return.”
