A Georgia high school biology teacher is now facing criminal charges after investigators accused her of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with one of her students — including an alleged encounter inside a classroom closet at the school.
According to authorities, 25 year old Maris Nichols, a teacher at Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested after investigators uncovered allegations involving a student under her supervision.

Investigators claim the first alleged encounter happened on April 23 inside a closet between classrooms on school grounds. Authorities say a second alleged incident later took place inside a parked Hummer in a residential driveway on May 2.
