Miles Morales did not ask for any of this. He just wanted to finish the mural. Michael B. Jordan plays Miles, a sharp rebellious Brooklyn teenager dropped into an elite school he never wanted, sneaking out to visit his Uncle Aaron in an abandoned subway tunnel when a radioactive spider changes everything a bite can change. The powers come fast and confusing and completely unasked for. What comes next is worse. Miles stumbles into a Kingpin operation buried underneath the city, a particle collider built by a grieving man willing to tear dimensions apart to get his family back, and the Spider-Man who shows up to stop it does not survive the night. Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker arrives from another universe, battle-scarred and reluctant and carrying the particular exhaustion of someone who has already lost everything the job can take from a person, pulled through the collider along with Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy, sharp and capable and moving through every scene like someone who learned the hard way that hesitation costs more than action. Three Spider-People. One collider pulling reality apart at the seams. And somewhere in the middle of all of it Miles finds out that the man he loves most in his world has been working for the man trying to end it.

The Amazing Spider-Man: The Return (2026) - First Trailer | Andrew Garfield - Concept Trailer

Nine to eleven hours on this one. Getting Miles’ arc from overwhelmed kid to Brooklyn’s Spider-Man to land correctly across a trailer this dense took serious pacing work. Went deep into the source material from every angle. Multiple tools, multiple passes. Miles earned every frame.
