Family, friends, and fans of Lil Poppa are preparing to say their final goodbye as funeral arrangements for the late Jacksonville rapper have officially been announced.

According to reports, Lil Poppa’s sister, Orion Wheeler, shared details about the public service on social media earlier this week.

The funeral is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 7, at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Lil Poppa’s hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. The service is expected to begin at 10 a.m. ET.

While the funeral will be open to the public, the family is reportedly implementing strict security measures to ensure privacy and safety during the emotional gathering. Guests will not be allowed to bring recording devices inside, including phones, smart glasses, or similar electronics. Bags and purses will also reportedly be prohibited from entering the service.

For fans unable to attend in person, the family shared that the ceremony will be livestreamed through Lil Poppa’s official YouTube page.

The heartbreaking funeral announcement comes just weeks after the rapper’s shocking death on February 18 in Georgia.

Authorities say Lil Poppa died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a single-car crash. According to police reports, the rapper allegedly contacted his manager after the accident and later drove to a nearby hotel parking lot where the tragic incident occurred.
