Saweetie is facing major legal trouble after a concert promoter filed a lawsuit accusing the rapper of taking payment for multiple Japan performances — then allegedly never showing up.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a company called Moon Dream Production is suing Saweetie and her touring company, Icy Grl Touring, for fraud and breach of contract over a series of planned concerts in Japan.
The promoter claims Saweetie agreed to perform four shows between July 18 and July 26, 2025, for a total fee of $200,000. Court filings reportedly state that she received a $100,000 deposit upfront before the performances were supposed to happen.
But according to the lawsuit, the concerts never happened.
The promoter alleges Saweetie and her team still traveled to Japan using visa services arranged by the company — but instead of performing the contracted shows, they allegedly appeared at other venues for different vendors during the same dates.

Moon Dream Production says the fallout caused massive financial losses, including promotional costs, merchandise expenses, venue payments and expected profits tied to the canceled events. The company claims it lost hundreds of thousands of dollars overall and is now seeking more than $3 million in punitive damages.
So far, Saweetie has not publicly responded to the allegations.
The lawsuit immediately sparked debate online, with fans split over whether the situation was a business misunderstanding or something far more serious. Others questioned how often international concert disputes happen behind the scenes without fans ever hearing about them.
Now social media is waiting for one thing: Saweetie’s side of the story.
