Port Charles is heading into another emotional collision as Lulu Spencer pushes forward with a bold and dangerous plan involving her son Rocco — only to be stopped cold by Dante Falconeri.

In the latest General Hospital video spoilers for May 18–22, Lulu becomes increasingly determined to take control of her situation, especially as fears grow over the escalating chaos tied to Wyndemere, Cassius, and the ongoing teen involvement in the larger crisis. Her solution? A sudden plan to run away with Rocco and remove him from the danger entirely.
But Dante is not willing to let that happen.
As tensions between the former couple resurface, Dante shuts down Lulu’s idea immediately, refusing to allow their son to be pulled into an unstable escape plan. His reaction is firm, emotional, and rooted in fear that things in Port Charles are already too dangerous for anyone to be making impulsive decisions involving Rocco.
This confrontation highlights a deeper fracture between Lulu and Dante that never fully healed. While Lulu sees escape as protection, Dante sees it as chaos on top of chaos — especially given everything already happening with the shooting secret, the Wyndemere situation, and multiple investigations closing in across the city.
Rocco’s position in all of this makes the situation even more volatile.
He is already carrying emotional weight from what he knows about recent events involving Cullum and the shooting incident, and the pressure from both parents puts him directly in the center of a custody-level emotional standoff. One wrong decision could push him deeper into trauma or force the truth about the shooting closer to exposure.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Port Charles, the danger continues to escalate.
Josslyn is still trapped in the Wyndemere storyline, Carly is digging deeper into Brennan’s collapse, Curtis is spiraling under the pressure of the Isaiah investigation, and Anna’s situation continues to raise alarms across multiple fronts. Every storyline is converging toward instability at the same time.
But at the heart of this episode is a simple but powerful conflict:
Is Lulu trying to protect Rocco… or take him away from everything Dante is fighting to hold together?
And more importantly — how long can Dante keep shutting down decisions before everything explodes anyway?
