Newly revealed jail correspondence allegedly exchanged between Josh Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar is drawing intense online reaction after reports detailed a series of explicit messages sent while Josh was in custody at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas.

According to the report, the messages were written during the period leading up to Josh’s sentencing in his federal child sexual abuse material case. The former reality TV star allegedly used the conversations to discuss intimate fantasies, compliment Anna’s appearance, and request revealing photos while awaiting the outcome of his trial.

Several of the messages reportedly contained flirtatious and graphic language. Josh Duggar, once one of the most recognizable members of the Duggar family from TLC’s reality television franchise, was convicted in 2021 of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material after investigators discovered illegal content on a computer connected to his workplace. He was later sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison and is currently serving his sentence in Texas.
