Cardi B scored another major legal victory against blogger Tasha K after a federal judge reportedly found Tasha in civil contempt for violating a court agreement tied to their long-running defamation battle.
The ruling is the latest development in the years-long legal war between Cardi B and the controversial blogger. Back in 2022, Cardi won a defamation lawsuit against Tasha K that initially resulted in a judgment worth nearly $4 million. After bankruptcy proceedings, the amount was reportedly reduced to around $1.2 million through a structured repayment agreement.
As part of that settlement, Tasha K allegedly agreed not to publicly discuss or disparage Cardi B, Offset, or Stefon Diggs online. Prosecutors and Cardi’s legal team argued that Tasha repeatedly ignored those restrictions by continuing to post commentary and allegations involving the celebrities.
The court reportedly sided with Cardi’s team and ordered Tasha to delete the prohibited content immediately. On top of that, the judge allegedly ordered Tasha to cover Cardi B’s attorney fees connected to the latest hearing.
Reports also claim sanctions were imposed against Tasha K’s bankruptcy attorney after issues involving legal filings presented during the proceedings.
While the judge stopped short of imposing additional future financial penalties immediately, Cardi’s legal team now reportedly has the ability to return to court if more violations happen. That means any future posts involving the protected parties could potentially trigger even harsher consequences.
Meanwhile, Tasha K appears to be facing growing financial pressure. The blogger recently launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Stand with Tasha K To Move Forward,” hoping to raise millions to help deal with mounting legal costs and judgments. However, online reports suggest the fundraiser has struggled to gain momentum compared to the massive amount still owed.
The case continues to attract major attention online because it highlights the growing legal risks surrounding celebrity commentary, social media reporting, and online gossip platforms.
