Jinger Duggar Vuolo is addressing lighthearted rumors circulating about her famously large family, joking about the idea that there could be “mystery grandkids” she doesn’t even know about.
During an Instagram Stories Q&A, the former Counting On star was asked whether there are any unknown grandchildren in the Duggar family. Responding with humor, she wrote: “Ohhhh,” followed by a side-eye emoji, before adding, “Maybe there are some that I don’t know about in a family as large as mine?! Haha jk,” along with a laughing emoji.
The Duggar family, which rose to fame through TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, is known for its unusually large size. Jinger is one of 19 siblings, and the extended family now includes around 40 grandchildren, a number that continues to grow as more family members marry and have children.
She also used the Q&A to reflect on how difficult it has become to keep track of birthdays across the extended family. Jinger said she has memorized her parents’ and siblings’ birthdays, but admitted that keeping track of nieces, nephews, and in-laws is much harder.
“Beyond that, in-laws? No. Nieces and nephews, maybe one or two,” she explained. “It’s a lot to remember.”
Her comments highlight the scale of the Duggar family tree, which continues to expand as younger generations grow their own families.
Jinger shares three children with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, and often shares glimpses of her family life through social media and her podcast.
In earlier discussions, she and Jeremy have even joked about how quickly the family could grow in the future, referencing past calculations suggesting the possibility of dozens or even hundreds of future descendants over generations.
Despite the playful rumors, Jinger’s remarks made clear that the “mystery grandkids” idea was just a joke—reflecting the humor she often uses when discussing her famously large and ever-growing family.
