Chance the Rapper has two very special fans — his kids.

While speaking with PEOPLE at the Gordon Parks Foundation’s Annual Gala in New York City earlier this month, the musician, 33, revealed that his daughters — Kensli, 10, and Marli, 6 — like to listen to his music.

Their go-to tracks? Chance said they have “a lot of favorite songs” on his 2016 Coloring Book album.

“I know my oldest likes the ‘Blessings’ song a lot,” he continued. “My youngest is more into ‘Star Line.’ “

Chance — who is set to head out on his Coloring Book Ten Year Anniversary Tour in August — also told PEOPLE that his daughters “will probably pop up to a couple of dates” as he makes stops in cities including Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Atlanta and San Francisco.

“My kids love concerts,” he said. “They’ll be back in school by that time, but we’ll see.”

He also shared his family’s big summer plans: a trip to Africa. “I think we’re going to go to Kenya for the first time, so I’m excited for that,” he said.

Chance shares his two daughters with ex Kirsten Corley. The pair, who married in Newport Beach, Calif., in March 2019, announced in April 2024 that, after a separation, they had decided to split up for good.

“After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways,” they wrote in a joint statement shared on Instagram Stories at the time. “We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”

The statement continued, “God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together.”

Corley officially filed for divorce in December 2024.

During an October 2022 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Chance opened up about his life as a dad and revealed that his daughters share his passion for music and performing. He said they “love singing” and “love to dance.”

The proud father said Kensli has “perfect pitch” and “goes crazy” with any song she sings.

At the time, Chance said his girls did not yet understand the concept of fame and therefore weren’t starstruck by his celebrity friends.

“They know I’m famous, but I don’t think they know anybody else is famous, which is awesome,” he said. “They don’t get impressed by anybody that I bring around, that I show them that I’m with, but they know that I sing and they like my songs, so I’m going to hold on to that while I can.”

Chance occasionally shares glimpses into his life with his daughters on social media. On May 2, he posted photos on Instagram of himself playing with Kensli and Marli in a pool. “We in miami turning up another notch,” he wrote in the caption.

On April 5, he posted a photo of himself posing with his two girls on Easter and wrote simply, “LOVE!”
