Finesse2tymes may have found a controversial new way to fight back against the music industry — by creating an entirely new rap identity.

2FithyRicky - Eybody Killa [Official Music Video]The Memphis rapper has reportedly started releasing music under the name “2FithyRicky” amid an ongoing dispute involving his alleged contract with Mob Ties, J. Prince Jr. and Atlantic Records.

According to reports, Finesse publicly criticized his deal online, calling it “modern-day slavery” and claiming the agreement severely limits his ability to independently release music and earn profits from his work.

The rapper allegedly uploaded portions of the contract into ChatGPT to better understand the terms, later revealing details that sparked major conversation online. He claimed the agreement functions as a 360 deal, meaning multiple parties allegedly receive percentages from nearly every stream of income tied to his career — including music sales, performances, endorsements, merchandise and even YouTube revenue.

2FithyRicky - Lil Buddy [Official Music Video]Finesse also suggested that the label structure leaves him responsible for repaying advances tied to luxury purchases and career expenses before seeing significant royalty payments. While some industry insiders argue those arrangements are common in major-label deals, the rapper made it clear he feels trapped by the situation.

That frustration appears to have led to the emergence of “2FithyRicky.”

Under the alternate name, the artist has reportedly begun uploading music independently across YouTube and streaming platforms. Fans believe the move could be an attempt to bypass restrictions allegedly tied specifically to the “Finesse2tymes” brand and contract.

The rapper is also reportedly teasing a project titled “FDL,” short for “Fukkh da Labels,” which further signals his frustration with the music business.

The entire situation has sparked debate online about artist contracts, ownership rights and how far musicians can go to regain control of their careers.
