After Garrett’s group completes their initial journey, Part 2 will focus on Steve and Alex venturing deeper into the Overworld to explore uncharted territories and face even harsher survival challenges.

The legendary character Alex (played by Kirsten Dunst) officially makes her appearance. She is introduced as the new owner of the old house Steve once lived in. Alex will team up with Steve (Jack Black) and his old friends (Garrett, Dawn) to embark on a brand new adventure. They must explore deeper into the core of the game world, deciphering the ancient mysteries (lore) of Minecraft.

In this part, Marlene (Jennifer Coolidge) – the vice principal of Chuglass High School – and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) will have a special connection as Dawn cares for Dennis, Steve’s former pet wolf brought over from the Overworld.
