Cardi B has secured another major legal win in her long-running battle against blogger Tasha K after a federal bankruptcy judge ruled that Tasha K violated a court-approved non-disparagement agreement tied to their ongoing legal feud.
According to newly filed court documents, the judge found Tasha K — whose real name is Latasha Kebe — in civil contempt after determining she repeatedly made public comments about Cardi B and her family despite previously agreeing not to do so under the terms of her bankruptcy reorganization plan.
The ruling marks another serious setback for the blogger following Cardi B’s earlier multimillion-dollar defamation victory against her.
The non-disparagement agreement reportedly prohibited Tasha K from publishing or sharing derogatory, defamatory or disparaging remarks about Cardi B, her relatives and people closely connected to her across social media, podcasts, radio appearances and other public platforms.
Court filings stated that the violations allegedly appeared across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Threads and even radio interviews.
The judge also ruled that people connected to Cardi B — including Offset and NFL player Stefon Diggs — were covered under protections outlined in the agreement.
According to reports, Tasha K did not deny making the statements referenced in Cardi B’s motion. Instead, she argued that she believed she still had the legal right to speak publicly about the rapper. The court rejected that argument, stating that compliance with the confirmed court order was mandatory regardless of personal opinion or intent.
As part of the ruling, the court ordered Tasha K to immediately stop making prohibited comments and remove any violating content from platforms she controls.
The judge also awarded Cardi B additional attorneys’ fees and legal costs connected to monitoring and enforcing the agreement.
In another unexpected development, Tasha K’s attorney Chad Van Horn was reportedly sanctioned by the court after filing errors and citation issues were identified by Cardi B’s legal team. The judge imposed extra financial penalties tied to those mistakes.
Although the court declined to issue automatic future penalties for additional violations, the judge warned that more sanctions could still happen if the behavior continues moving forward.
For Cardi B, the decision further strengthens her yearslong legal effort to stop what she says are false and harmful public attacks against her and her family online.
