The trailer reveals a hilarious and absurd story set in 1920s Hollywood. Here, the Minions are trying to make a monster movie. A cute, Cthulhu-like creature leads them to a mysterious island to search for the ultimate monster, Irene. However, after bringing Irene back to Hollywood, this monster threatens to destroy the planet, forcing the Minions to work together to fix their mistake and save the world.
