50 Cent is speaking out after an alleged video involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and his former partner Daphne Joy began circulating across social media over the weekend.
The rapper took to Instagram on Sunday, claiming the real victim in the controversy is his teenage son, Sire, whom he shares with Joy.
“She’s not a victim,” 50 Cent wrote in a now-viral post. “SIRE is. Can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom.”
The comments came after online speculation exploded surrounding footage that allegedly shows Diddy directing a sexual encounter involving a woman believed by some internet users to be Daphne Joy. Neither Diddy nor Joy has publicly confirmed the identities of anyone appearing in the clip, and the source of the video remains unclear.
The controversy quickly reignited tensions between 50 Cent and Joy, whose relationship has frequently made headlines over the years.
Back in 2024, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a lawsuit against Diddy that mentioned Joy by name, alleging she was connected to a group of women allegedly paid for sex work — claims Joy strongly denied at the time.
Following those allegations, 50 Cent publicly mocked Joy online and reportedly sought sole custody of their son. Joy later accused the rapper of rape and physical abuse in a social media post, accusations he denied before filing a defamation lawsuit. The legal dispute was eventually dropped after the post was removed.
The latest social media storm also resurfaced conversations surrounding Diddy’s federal criminal case.
During the highly publicized trial, a witness identified only as “Jane” testified about allegedly coercive sexual encounters involving male escorts while Diddy allegedly watched and directed the situations. Online speculation later linked the anonymous witness to Joy, though she has never publicly addressed those rumors.
Diddy was ultimately convicted in 2025 on two counts related to transportation for prostitution under the Mann Act. However, he was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
He is currently serving a prison sentence in New Jersey while his legal team continues the appeals process.
As reactions continue to spread online, 50 Cent’s latest comments have once again placed his ongoing feud with Diddy — and the personal fallout surrounding it — back in the public spotlight.
