The film follows Lucky Armstrong (played by Anya Taylor-Joy), a seasoned con artist. She was raised and guided into crime from a young age by her own father (Timothy Olyphant).

Things go awry when a multi-million dollar heist goes wrong. After a major explosion, Lucky’s husband suddenly disappears, forcing her to flee with the money. On her escape, Lucky is not only relentlessly hunted by the FBI but also becomes the target of a ruthless crime boss named Priscilla (played by Annette Bening), who is also her mother-in-law.
